Paddle For A Cause

The Upper Saco Valley Land Trust helps protect the Saco River watershed and preserve it for recreation activities. The Saco River is the foundation of our business and a huge reason as to why the owner loves to live in the MWV.

Date: Wed. August 6

Mountain Rescue Service, During the off season you can find the owner and Teak hiking, snowmobiling and skiing. The White Mountains are fortunate to have such a great resource in case of emergency for those that find themselves unprepared on their mountain adventures. MRS was also the winner of the community vote for the Outdoor category!

Date: Wed. August 13

Camden Bailey Cancer Foundation, This new scholarship honors this young man who is fighting through so much adversity. He is a leader on and off the local high school's athletic field. Camden's mom was also one of Saco Canoe Rental Companies first employees back in 1999. Camden inspires us, and we're proud to support him.

Date: Tue. August 20

MWV Supports Recovery, the team sees so much value in having this non-profit available to individuals and families within the MWV. It was also the winner of the Community Outreach vote!

Date: Wed. August 27

This non profit provides water rescues during high water and flooding on the Saco and Swift Rivers. Its mission statement says it all: Education, Advocacy, Rescue, Recovery.
