ELC rafting will be offering Whitewater Rafting Trips on the Androscoggin every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Memorial Day to Labor Day. This section of river is great for families and first time rafters. Your trip will include 2 runs from the Pontook Dam.
The Pontook Dam Section of the Androscoggin River is an exciting Class II-III section of Whitewater, this is the perfect trip for families with young children, or anyone looking for adventure. Negotiate the same rapids and waves that were once used by northern loggers to transport their timber supply from the headwaters of the Androscoggin in Errol, NH to the logging mecca of Berlin, NH. On this one day whitewater adventure you will gain a stronger understanding of the culture of the area; while having the chance to encounter wildlife such as moose, osprey, and eagles.
